Alchemy Pay was admitted to the Mastercard Crypto Partner Program, a global initiative that brings together more than 85 crypto companies, payment providers and financial institutions with the goal of aligning on-chain innovation with traditional card payment infrastructure.

This new addition will deepen the pre-existing relationship between both companies. Alchemy Pay was already listed as a certified provider in Mastercard’s Site Data Protection program, alongside firms such as Amazon, Google and J.P. Morgan. Robert McCracken, Ecosystem Lead at the company, noted at the time that this inclusion was proof of a firm commitment to operating within existing regulatory frameworks.

Alchemy Pay operates as a conversion gateway between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies in more than 173 countries. It supports over 50 fiat currencies. Its offering includes on-ramp and off-ramp solutions, an NFT checkout and a white-label crypto card program that runs on the Visa and Mastercard networks. The company also holds regulatory licenses in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
