Alchemy Pay Launches Alchemy Chain Mainnet to Build Global Stablecoin Settlement Layer
Table of Contents

Alchemy Pay launched the Alchemy Chain mainnet, a layer-1 blockchain designed specifically for stablecoin payments at global scale. Its infrastructure targets real-world use cases such as merchant payments, remittances and cross-border settlements.

The network’s architecture prioritizes near-instant transaction finality, predictable fee structures and native integration with fiat on-and-off-ramp infrastructure. This design aims to ensure high interoperability between the traditional financial system and blockchain-based payments, allowing businesses and institutions to access stablecoin settlement with greater regulatory clarity.

In this regard, Alchemy Chain was built in direct alignment with the industry’s most important regulatory frameworks, including the European MiCA regulation, the PSD2 directive and the evolving digital asset regulations in Hong Kong. Alchemy Pay’s goal is to connect major financial regions through a unified, regulatorily compliant network.

The native token $ACH operates as the network’s gas token and supports validator operations and ecosystem growth. Among Alchemy Pay’s future plans are the issuance of a native dollar-denominated stablecoin and the expansion of compliant payment corridors across Europe, Asia-Pacific and other regions.
