Binance said August 6 that bStocks added $565.9 million in outstanding tokenized-equity value within seven weeks of its June 11 launch, a gain of more than 5,000%. The company says the growth supports its push toward a single, always-on financial account combining direct stocks, tokenized securities and TradFi perpetual futures.
According to Binance, bStocks represented as much as 27% of global tokenized-equity market capitalization and priced in a median 92% of the following Monday’s stock-price gap during weekend trading. TradFi perpetuals also reached a 74% share of the global ETF-perpetual market across 146 pairs, showing traction across multiple equity-linked product formats rather than one isolated launch.
More than 90% of users accessing bStocks and direct stocks come from emerging markets, while Gen Z accounts for nearly 44% of Binance’s equity users. Binance presents those figures as evidence for its financial-super-app strategy, but bStocks remain certificates rather than direct share ownership and are restricted to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions. The next test is whether early scale develops into sustained, compliant cross-product activity.
