According to Mazrael’s analysis, the receiving address —identified as `0x51580B706d0E84eC9DE947cDeA33c56D616aaA38`— currently holds 125,334,083,223 SHIB, equivalent to approximately $678,000. The wallet had no prior activity, suggesting it was created specifically for this transfer. Arkham classifies it as an “unlabeled address“, with no public name or associated ENS or ShibName domain.
The Whales Behind the Operation
The source wallet is BitGo’s multisig contract `0xa63e8DdA009E9079124c1E3678F4932BB8061f4d`, explicitly identified by Binance and Arkham as “WalletSimple (BitGo)“. This address had received massive deposits in the preceding days: on September 1, 2026, 600 billion SHIB flowed in from a first-time ecosystem whale catalogued as a “trillionaire“.
On September 6, another 408 billion arrived from a wallet that had remained inactive for nearly three years. Once both flows were combined inside the multisig, it became impossible to determine exactly which portion of the 125.33 billion SHIB transferred corresponds to each source.
The Mystery of the Receiving Wallet
Doubts center on the destination address. None of the sources consulted —including ShibWatch— were able to associate this whale with a public name, alias, or on-chain domain. The full balance remains intact, with no movements following the receipt. Mazrael noted that the observed pattern is consistent with a custody segregation or an OTC agreement, though he clarified that no additional evidence supports either hypothesis.
