A trader invested just $341 in World Cup Coin, a memecoin launched on Solana on May 11 via Pump.fun, when its market capitalization was below $40,000.

Since then, the token accumulated a gain of over 30,000%, allowing the trader to achieve 14,000% realized gains after selling positions for a total of $49,400 across 78 transactions, according to the block explorer SolScan.

According to DEX Screener data, World Cup Coin traded sideways during the first 12 hours after the initial purchase, then climbed to a market cap of $2.18 million and reached $6 million the following day.

The token then fell 49% before marking an all-time high of $12.2 million on May 21. World Cup Coin’s market cap currently sits around $8.37 million, and the trader’s unsold holdings are valued at $108,200, bringing the combined return to $157,600 on the original investment.
