Julian Berridi, product manager at Ripple, announced the release of updates to xrpl.js and xrpl-py with support for version 3.3.0, the two most widely used development libraries for interacting with the protocol.

xrpl.js is the JavaScript and TypeScript API for Node.js environments and browsers, while xrpl-py is a pure Python implementation that simplifies complex tasks such as data serialization and transaction signing.

Version 3.3.0, the reference implementation of the ledger protocol, was launched in early August and introduced six new amendments, including atomic batch transactions, Multi-Purpose Token transfers with enhanced privacy, granular account permission delegation, and the reserve and transaction sponsorship mechanism defined in XLS-68. In addition, five long-standing amendments were removed and permanently incorporated into the protocol.

Among the changes pending activation, the fixCleanup3\_3\_0 amendment, which groups fixes for Single Asset Vaults, the lending protocol, Automated Market Makers, and the permissioned DEX, reached 77.14% of favorable votes according to XRPScan data, approaching the threshold required for final approval.
