In an effort to encourage social distancing during COVID-19, gaming reward platform Refereum has teamed up with Tron, DLive, and Bittorrent to rewards users with RFR and Steam digital keys for various games.
Refereum announced the move in blog post published on its website on Thursday, April 2. According to Refereum, the goal of the partnership is to rewards users for what they already love to do.
According to the details, Refereum will reward both streamers and watcher of DLive. Starting Thursday, April 2, 2020 and throughout the month, when a user watch DLive streamers and join their Hub on Refereum, he will collect a reward of total of $1,000 of $RFR, and more through the end of April. If a user streams on DLive and create a new Hub on Refereum, the platform also reward the first 100 people with 1,000 Lemons in their DLive account.
User can watch DLive streamers on Refereum or can discover new ones on DLive. DLive is video streaming platform that, as reported by Crypto Economy, in December of 2019, Tron announced the acquisition of DLive that was merged with BitTorrent’s live streaming service Live to form a new product. Since the acquisition, Tron has doubled down on its entertainment strategy through snapping up crypto blogging network Steemit.
The move is to promote Stay at Home campaign by rewarding people during these pressing times. The platform has #stayhomegamemore campaign for its community to encourage social distancing.
