TL;DR

  • Bybit removed fees on cryptocurrency purchases via Apple Pay until September 24, a promotion available globally.
  • The offer applies to purchases of 100 USDT or its equivalent and covers 36 fiat currencies compatible with cards linked to Apple Wallet.
  • The process is carried out through Bybit One-Click Buy, with no additional transfers or extended waiting times.

Bybit, the second largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trading volume, announced that purchases of digital assets through Apple Pay will carry no fees from today until September 24.

The initiative was unveiled from Dubai and aims to attract new users, while also reducing the complexity of that process for them and for retail traders looking to adjust positions without absorbing additional transaction costs.

Bybit One-Click Buy: Speed and Simplicity

The promotion works through Bybit One-Click Buy, a tool designed to simplify the purchasing process to the minimum number of steps possible. The user selects their preferred cryptocurrency, chooses a payment currency and confirms the transaction with Apple Pay as the payment method. No intermediate transfers or complex funding processes are required. A compatible bank card linked to Apple Wallet is sufficient to complete the transaction in seconds.

The offer covers 36 fiat currencies, extending its reach to users across different regions of the world. The fee exemption applies to purchases of 100 USDT or its equivalent, an accessible threshold for both those entering the ecosystem for the first time and those who already operate on a regular basis.

Accessibility As a Strategic Asset

Bybit has framed this initiative within its vision of a New Financial Platform, an objective aimed at building a low-friction, wide-reaching payments ecosystem. By bringing the speed and familiarity of Apple’s payment environment into the world of cryptocurrencies, the exchange seeks to minimize the distance between traditional financial systems and digital assets.

The move also responds to a very common dynamic in the crypto industry: the search for simpler and more affordable entry channels for the average user, given that transaction costs have historically acted as a disincentive to mass adoption.
