TL;DR

  • Ondo Finance became the first tokenization company to join DTCC’s Fund/SERV, the platform behind 85% of U.S. mutual fund transactions.
  • Membership was granted to Oasis Pro Markets, a subsidiary of the registered broker-dealer firm, enabling it to connect with distributors through a single standardized link.
  • The company manages over $3.5 billion in TVL and counts BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and JPMorgan among its institutional partners.

Ondo Finance became the first tokenization company to join the Fund/SERV of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the platform that processes more than 85% of mutual fund transactions in the United States. The announcement was made jointly by both companies and marks an inflection point for tokenized assets within traditional financial infrastructure.

DTCC is the backbone of the post-trade system in the United States: it manages the clearing, settlement, and recording of securities for an amount that exceeds trillions of dollars daily. Fund/SERV is the specific platform within that ecosystem that connects mutual fund companies, wealth management platforms, and service providers, covering everything from transaction confirmations and reconciliations to tax and regulatory reporting.

Ondo Finance: The Last Link in the Distribution Chain

Membership was granted to Oasis Pro Markets, which operates as Ondo Finance’s broker-dealer registered in the United States and distributor of tokenized investment products. Prior to this integration, placing a tokenized fund in front of traditional financial advisors and wealth management platforms required building separate integrations with each distributor individually.

Through Fund/SERV, Oasis Pro Markets can transact with companies, platforms, and service providers through a single standardized connection, offering direct access to the same distribution channels already used by conventional mutual funds.

DTCC-

Talia Klein, Managing Director and Head of Wealth and Investment Solutions at DTCC, framed the alliance within a strategy to connect traditional infrastructure with digital finance and support tokenized assets at scale.

Ondo Finance currently manages more than $3.5 billion in total value locked, lists more than 440 tokenized securities, and counts among its institutional partners BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and Kinexys, JPMorgan’s platform.
