VeBetter, the sustainable lifestyle application platform developed by VeChain, distributed over $750,000 in B3TR tokens through the Green Ambassador Challenge, a learning application focused on sustainability.
Users earn rewards by completing lessons, passing multiple-choice quizzes and recording their results on the VeChainThor blockchain. The program operates in 114 countries and has already surpassed 100,000 users and 100,000 hours of accumulated learning.

The process works as follows: the user connects a VeWorld wallet, selects a challenge, studies the content and completes the assessment. After validator review, the platform records the result on VeChainThor and releases B3TR tokens after a seven-day waiting period. The platform also incorporates a backing multiplier for active users that, at its maximum level, allows earning 400 or more tokens per completed challenge.
VeBetter: Learning as Public Proof on the Blockchain
Every verified action is recorded on VeChainThor as public evidence of learning. Before releasing rewards, validators review each submission to confirm it meets the program’s requirements. This mechanism aims to reduce fraudulent activity and maintain the integrity of the system in an ecosystem that processes requests from dozens of countries.
B3TR tokens also grant access to ecosystem governance. Users can convert B3TR into VOT3 and participate in periodic allocation rounds that determine how rewards are distributed among the platform’s more than 50 applications. Apps with greater community backing can access larger reward pools.
Beyond Formal Education
VeBetter launched on mainnet in 2024 and accumulates 5.3 million users across areas such as health, energy, waste reduction and low-carbon-footprint behavior. The Green Ambassador Challenge was key to strengthening that model, rewarding verified learning and everyday actions such as walking or using reusable containers.
VeBetter also established partnerships with universities and non-governmental organizations and plans to incorporate new challenge topics, while also allowing educators and sustainability experts to submit their own lessons.
Separately, VeChain recently unveiled a new explorer, an agent indexer and an updated roadmap oriented toward artificial intelligence-driven Web3 workflows.
