TL;DR:

  • Bitway (BTW) posted a 43.2% weekly surge, trading near $0.70.
  • Venice Token (VVV) advanced 33.5% in seven days and tested technical support at $21.46.
  • Filecoin (FIL) recorded $420 million in daily volume against a market capitalization of $823 million.

3 altcoins stood out across the crypto market during the third week of September with remarkable performance. Bitway (BTW), Venice Token (VVV), and Filecoin (FIL) led returns across the top 100 assets.

While these three tokens topped the weekly leaderboard, their underlying technical structures diverge significantly from one another.

Bitway recorded a 43.2% jump over seven days, trading near $0.70 as of September 15. The network operates as a Proof-of-Stake chain known as the Bitway Ledger, where the token serves for governance and transaction fee payments.

During Tuesday’s session, the price swung by 46% between an intraday low of $0.5439 and a high of $0.7944. Technical analysis from the market notes that the asset encountered stiff resistance between $0.75 and $0.78.

Trading volume backing this move remained below levels recorded in June and July. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) retreated from near 85 down toward the low 70s, even as the price rallied 75% since mid-August. A market report indicated that this bearish divergence points to a potential pullback toward primary support at $0.48, roughly 31% below current levels.

Meanwhile, Venice Token climbed 33.5% over seven days, touching $21.45 after a 26.7% pullback from its all-time high of $29.288 set on September 9.

The correction found footing at the $21.469 mark, a level matching its previous all-time high from June 3. This price zone aligns with the 0.236 Fibonacci retracement at $22.806. In recent trading, the asset opened at $21.463 and touched a temporary low of $21.191 before regaining traction.

VVV’s RSI leveled off around 60 points without signaling bearish divergences. However, technical market data highlights that percentage gains between consecutive all-time highs have narrowed from 115.6% down to 36.4%. Analysts note that consolidating around the $21.46 band represents the critical threshold to determine whether the broader uptrend continues.

Volume Disparity and Technical Supports

Filecoin staged a 61.3% rebound from its August 18 low of $0.8095, pressing toward an exchange rate near $0.99.

Daily turnover for FIL hit $420 million against a market capitalization of $823 million. That volume corresponds to a 51% turnover-to-market-cap ratio.

Price action cleared the $0.80 barrier and reached an intraday peak of $1.0370 before a modest retracement. The 0.5 Fibonacci retracement at $0.9668 serves as the nearest immediate support floor. Industry analysts point to $1.0511 as the next overhead technical resistance if buying volume holds.

The metrics show that the tokens with the largest percentage gains did not necessarily show the most robust technical setups. BTW captured the strongest rally but did so with distant support levels and softer relative volume, whereas FIL demonstrated the highest liquidity confirmation while trading within 2% of its support base.

The near-term trajectory of these tokens now hinges on the weekly candle closes on Sunday, September 20, alongside final volume figures heading into the end of Q3.
