Travala.com, the world’s leading blockchain-based online hotel booking platform, has added Basic Attention Token (BAT) to its platform and announced a global marketing campaign that promotes Travala.com via privacy-preserving Brave Ads.
Travala.com announced the move in a blog post published on Monday, July 13th. According to the announcement, Travala.com will make use of Brave’s blockchain-based digital advertising platform to reach over 15 million active Brave users.
“Brave users who opt into privacy-preserving Brave Ads are rewarded with 70% of the ad revenue in BAT,” said Travala.com.
Users can use these BAT tokens to support their favorite content creators via Brave Rewards. BAT tokens can also be transferred to other wallets for other uses, including the option to book over 2,000,000+ properties in 230 countries and 600 airlines globally via Travala.com, further boosting its utility.
The Brave web browser is developed by San Francisco-based Brave Software. The company was co-founded by Brendan Eich, creator of JavaScript and co-founder of Mozilla Firefox, and Brian Bondy, formerly of Khan Academy and Mozilla. The flagship product of the company is a fast, privacy-oriented browser called Brave, combined with its blockchain-based digital advertising platform that allows advertisers to achieve better conversions and published increase their revenue share. The Brave browser currently has over 15 million monthly active users and over 750,000 verified publishers.
BAT is an Ethereum-based native token of Brave radically improves the efficiency of digital advertising by removing middlemen, trackers, and fraud. The token can be used to obtain a variety of advertising and attention-based services on the BAT platform.
