TL;DR
- Bitcoin recovered toward $78,000 after falling to $76,200, while a softer dollar and calmer broader markets helped stabilize sentiment after Wednesday’s selloff.
- PONS surged 30.85% in 24 hours and ARB jumped 16.77% for a third session, extending the Robinhood Chain rally with record ARB open interest.
- U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted a second straight outflow, but higher-strike $82,000 and $84,000 calls still led Deribit options volume, preserving a bullish bias.
Bitcoin recovered toward $78,000 on Thursday after falling to $76,200 a day earlier, its lowest level in 10 days, as markets absorbed another escalation in Middle East tensions. BTC had repeatedly pushed above $81,000 last week before retreating, later bouncing between $77,000 and $79,000 as volatility returned. The key development is that buyers defended the latest $76,000-area drop quickly enough to restore part of Wednesday’s losses. Bitcoin’s market capitalization climbed back to roughly $1.56 trillion, while its dominance over altcoins remained at 59.6% as the broader crypto market stabilized during early Thursday trading hours.
Robinhood Chain Tokens Lead While Bitcoin Stabilizes
The recovery came alongside a softer U.S. dollar and modest gains across traditional markets. Bitcoin rose 0.76% since midnight to around $77,890, while gold gained 0.97%, silver advanced 0.88%, Nasdaq 100 futures added 0.2% and S&P 500 futures rose 0.15%. The macro backdrop turned more supportive, but institutional flows still showed hesitation around Bitcoin. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a $9.3 million net outflow, marking a second consecutive day of selling, although the figure was far smaller than Tuesday’s $239 million withdrawal and suggested pressure had eased considerably across the wider risk complex.

Robinhood Chain-linked tokens provided the clearest altcoin momentum. PONS surged 30.85% over 24 hours to $0.50 and extended its weekly gain to 318.72%, while ARB jumped 16.77% for a third consecutive session and pushed its market capitalization above $916 million. The Robinhood Chain narrative is producing concentrated gains even while the broader altcoin market remains far from a full rotation. ARB open interest climbed nearly 10% to a record 1.58 billion tokens, while daily trading volume reached $486 million, more than nine times last week’s average of roughly $50 million during the latest trading session.
Other major tokens also improved, though performance remained uneven. XRP reclaimed $1.35, BNB moved slightly above $700, Solana returned to $100 and Ether continued battling for $2,400, while Uniswap fell sharply after its recent rally. The total crypto market capitalization added about $20 billion to reach $2.62 trillion. Bitcoin’s rebound is therefore unfolding beside selective altcoin strength rather than a synchronized market breakout. Derivatives positioning remains relatively light in BTC and ETH, while higher-strike Bitcoin calls at $82,000 and $84,000 continue to lead Deribit options volume, preserving a bullish bias despite calmer volatility across the broader market today.
