- ETF Rebound: Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded a combined $200.5 million in net inflows on Oct. 13, returning both categories to positive territory.
- Bitcoin Demand: Bitcoin ETFs attracted $175.7 million, led by Fidelity’s FBTC and BlackRock’s IBIT, reversing the previous session’s outflows.
- Ethereum Recovery: Ethereum ETFs brought in $24.8 million, ending a ten-day outflow streak as both ETH and BTC prices moved higher.
After a difficult start to October, crypto ETFs saw a notable shift in sentiment on Oct. 13. Combined net inflows into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs reached $200.5 million, ending a period marked by heavy withdrawals and reflecting renewed investor interest. The positive session also coincided with a recovery in the prices of both major cryptocurrencies, offering a potential boost to market confidence after recent weakness.
Bitcoin ETFs accounted for the majority of the gains, attracting $175.7 million in net inflows. Ethereum ETFs added another $24.8 million, helping both product categories return to positive territory after facing sustained outflows earlier in the month.
Bitcoin ETFs Reverse Recent Outflows
The latest session represented a significant turnaround for Bitcoin ETF products. Just one trading day earlier, the sector recorded a net outflow of $65.4 million. On Oct. 13, however, investor demand returned in force. Fidelity’s FBTC led the daily inflows with $103.1 million, followed by BlackRock’s IBIT with $65.9 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT contributed an additional $6.7 million. Together, these inflows pushed Bitcoin ETF products back into positive territory for the day.
The rebound comes after a particularly challenging stretch. Bitcoin ETF funds recorded net outflows of $484.9 million on Oct. 7 and another $244.1 million on Oct. 8. Despite the recent recovery, Bitcoin ETFs have still logged roughly $707 million in net outflows during October, highlighting the pressure that has weighed on the market throughout the month.

Ethereum ETFs End Losing Streak
Ethereum ETF products also posted a positive session, recording $24.8 million in net inflows on Oct. 13. Grayscale’s ETH fund led the category with $16.7 million in inflows, while Fidelity’s FETH attracted $8.1 million. The result ended a ten-trading-day streak of net outflows for Ethereum ETFs, marking an important shift after weeks of persistent withdrawals. Even with the latest improvement, Ethereum ETF flows remain deeply negative for October, showing that the category still has ground to recover before reversing the broader monthly trend.
Crypto Prices Recover Alongside ETF Demand
The return of ETF inflows arrived alongside gains in both major cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin climbed back above $83,000 after facing recent selling pressure. Ethereum also moved higher, recovering toward the $2,500 level. The simultaneous recovery in ETF demand and asset prices provided a welcome change of direction after a challenging period for both markets.
