TL;DR

  • Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and related mining services on November 10 at 07:00 UTC, ending an operation that began in April 2020.
  • Miners must redirect hashrate before the cutoff, while Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, APIs and other related features will also be discontinued.
  • Outstanding eligible rewards and settlements will still be processed, while historical Pool pages remain accessible until November 24 before becoming permanently unavailable to users.

Binance will shut down Binance Pool and related mining services on November 10, ending an operation launched in April 2020. In its official announcement, the exchange said the cutoff will occur at 07:00 UTC, when mining connections, Stratum URLs and endpoints begin shutting down. The closure ends more than six years of Binance’s direct participation in pooled crypto mining while requiring users to redirect computing power before the deadline. Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator and related features will also disappear. The move closes a chapter that began with Binance’s entry into Bitcoin mining.

Miners Must Migrate Before the November Cutoff

After the cutoff, Binance will no longer accept or credit hashrate submissions and mining shares, while affected products will stop generating rewards or yield. Eligible outstanding rewards, balances, refunds and settlements will still be processed subject to product rules, account status and applicable laws. Users must reconfigure miners toward alternative pools before November 10 to avoid interruptions and should redeem active Pool Savings positions before the service ends. Binance also asks customers to complete required identity-verification steps for final processing by 23:59 UTC that day. The shutdown follows other recent mining-pool exits in 2026.

Binance will discontinue Binance Pool

Binance Pool entered the market in April 2020 with initial support for Bitcoin mining before expanding to other cryptocurrencies and products. Its launch placed Binance alongside exchange-linked mining operators competing for hashrate while offering integrated payout services. The November shutdown reverses that expansion and removes the mining-pool business from Binance’s lineup without implying that Binance itself is closing or withdrawing from crypto services more broadly. The company said the decision was part of an ongoing review of products and services but gave no specific reason. The change renews attention on competition among Bitcoin mining pools.

Binance Pool is expected to operate until the cutoff, and eligible shares submitted beforehand will count toward final rewards. Links to the service will disappear from Binance’s homepage on November 10, but Pool pages will remain accessible until November 24 at 07:00 UTC for data and payout status. After that, they will become unavailable. The immediate operational priority is migration and record preservation, not a network-level disruption to cryptocurrencies previously supported by Binance Pool. Users should save reports and histories before access ends. The closure comes as Bitcoin mining economics continue to pressure operators across the sector.
