TL;DR

  • Bitcoin ETFs: Segment recorded $101.2 million in inflows, with IBIT leading and GBTC continuing to see redemptions.
  • Ethereum Rotation: Ethereum ETFs ended a 12‑day streak, posting $48 million in outflows as ETHA, FETH, and ETHE saw withdrawals while ETHB attracted fresh capital.
  • Solana and XRP: Solana ETFs logged $6.1 million in outflows, and XRP ETFs posted $7.2 million in withdrawals, ending an 11‑session streak and showing cooling demand across smaller segments.

Institutional flows shifted sharply on Wednesday as Bitcoin ETFs attracted fresh capital. At the same time, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP products moved in the opposite direction. The day marked a clear divergence across major crypto segments, with Bitcoin ETFs pulling in $101.2 million even as other assets saw renewed selling pressure.

ETF Flows Split Across Major Crypto Segments

Ethereum ETFs ended a strong 12‑day inflow streak, recording $48 million in net outflows. ETHA led withdrawals with $53.4 million, followed by FETH at $26.2 million and ETHE at $23.5 million. ETHB helped soften the decline with roughly $53 million in inflows, showing that capital rotation within Ethereum products remains active rather than purely directional.

XRP ETFs also saw momentum cool. The segment posted $7.2 million in net outflows, ending an 11‑session streak that previously added about $170 million. Cumulative XRP ETF inflows now sit near $1.68 billion.

Bitcoin ETFs moved in the opposite direction, reversing the prior day’s $236.5 million outflow with a $101.2 million inflow. This marks one of the more notable rebounds in recent sessions and reinforces how Bitcoin ETFs continue to attract institutional interest even during market pullbacks.

Market Conditions and Price Movements

Market Conditions and Price Movements

Crypto prices softened across the board, with Ether down 3.4% over the past week, XRP down 2.4%, and Bitcoin down 1.3%. At publication time, Ether traded at $2,407, XRP at $1.36, and Bitcoin at $77,744. Daily moves were mixed, with Bitcoin up 0.2% to $77,597 while Ethereum slipped 0.9% to $2,397. Other major tokens showed modest strength. BNB rose 1.35% to $697, XRP added 1.27% to $1.36, and Solana gained 0.41% to around $100. Dogecoin edged up 0.25%, while Hyperliquid dipped 0.6%.

Fund‑Level Activity Highlights Bitcoin ETF Divergence

The most distinct shift occurred within Bitcoin ETFs. IBIT attracted $115.4 million, BTC added $30.4 million, MSBT took in $7.3 million, and BITB drew $4.2 million. GBTC remained a drag with $56.2 million in outflows. These movements show that strength in Bitcoin ETFs is concentrated rather than uniform, with inflows into select products offsetting persistent redemptions elsewhere. Solana ETFs cooled sharply, posting $6.1 million in outflows. In comparison, XRP ETFs saw $7.2 million in withdrawals concentrated entirely in the Bitwise product. Hyperliquid ETFs ended the session flat.
