Ondo Finance announced that its dollar yield token, USDYis now available on Tempo, the L1 payments-focused blockchain incubated by Stripe and Paradigm.

The integration makes USDY the first permissionless tokenized treasury asset to operate on the Tempo network, designed specifically for stablecoin settlement, commerce, and cross-border value transfers.

Tempo was built with sub-second finality, stablecoin-denominated fees, and dedicated payment lanes that guarantee predictable execution of payrolls and disbursements, even during peak network activity.

On top of that infrastructure, USDY delivers yields backed by short-term U.S. Treasury bonds, available directly within payment flows, wallets, and corporate treasuries.

Unlike most tokenized treasury products, USDY is freely transferable on-chain without requiring prior authorization from each counterparty. That feature makes it compatible with payroll rails, merchant payments, and remittance corridors, where pre-registering every participant is not feasible.
