US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs extended their strong start to August with another day of solid inflows, pulling in $244.4 million on Wednesday. The three-day stretch has now reached $626 million, according to figures tracked by SoSoValue, marking a clear shift in investor behavior as money continues flowing back into these products.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust remained the dominant force throughout the week. No other Bitcoin ETFs came close to matching its haul, reinforcing IBIT’s position as the leading vehicle in the category.

Bitcoin Price Rises as Sentiment Stays Cautious

The inflows coincided with a brief price jump for Bitcoin, which climbed above $64,920 on Wednesday before settling at $64,744.53. The price was up 0.7% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. Even with the uptick, sentiment remained subdued. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index held in “Extreme Fear” territory with a score of 25, down from 27 the day before. The gauge tracks broader market mood toward Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies, and the latest reading suggests investors are still navigating uncertainty despite renewed interest in Bitcoin ETFs.

The week’s activity showed a split across crypto-linked funds. Spot Ethereum ETFs logged their second straight day of inflows, adding $60.9 million on Wednesday and bringing their two-day total to $114.6 million. XRP ETFs moved in the opposite direction, recording $3.58 million in net outflows. That drop reduced total net assets to $993.4 million, though cumulative net inflows still stood at $1.51 billion.

The divergence highlights how different segments of the market are responding to current conditions. While Bitcoin ETFs and Ethereum products saw steady gains, XRP funds faced renewed pressure, underscoring the uneven sentiment across digital asset categories as August begins.
