TL;DR

  • Bitcoin ETF flows: Inflows returned with $32.1 million added, ending a four-day outflow streak and lifting monthly totals.
  • Ether ETF movement: Ether funds slipped $18.65 million on the day but remain ahead with strong monthly inflows.
  • XRP and HYPE trends: XRP ETFs gained $584K while HYPE products saw an $8.78 million drop driven entirely by BHYP.

US-listed spot Bitcoin ETF flows finally flipped back into positive territory on Wednesday, breaking a four-session outflow streak that had drained more than $500 million from the category. The shift came as Bitcoin briefly dipped to around $63,300 during US trading hours, yet investor appetite showed enough strength to push $32.1 million in net inflows across the group. Despite the bounce, weekly flows remain slightly negative, while monthly totals continue to trend upward.

Bitcoin ETF flows stabilize after a volatile week

The latest inflow marks a modest but notable reversal for Bitcoin ETF products, which have shed $29.29 million so far this week. Monthly net inflows have climbed to $204.7 million, helping push cumulative inflows to $51.36 billion. The move comes amid price softness, with Bitcoin trading at $63,990 at publication, down 0.2% over the past day and 2.5% over the past week. Market sentiment remains cautious, reflected in the Crypto Fear & Greed Index’s “fear” reading of 28.

However, conditions have improved from last month’s “extreme fear.” While Bitcoin ETF flows showed signs of recovery, Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction. Spot Ether products posted $18.65 million in net outflows on Wednesday, though they remain ahead every month with $342.9 million in net inflows, surpassing the $204.7 million recorded by Bitcoin ETF products.

Across all XRP ETFs, total net assets reached $989 million, with cumulative inflows standing at $1.496 billion and a net asset ratio of 1.48%.

HYPE ETFs moved in the opposite direction, logging $8.78 million in net outflows on the same day. Bitwise’s BHYP accounted for the entire decline, though its cumulative inflows remain at $104 million. As of publication, HYPE ETFs hold $252 million in total net assets, a 2.12% net asset ratio, and $280 million in cumulative inflows.
