Ripple received full approval of its Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the Financial Sector Supervisory Commission (CSSF) of Luxembourg, completing the process initiated with the preliminary approval of June 2026. This license makes the company a fully compliant entity under the MiCA regulatory framework and allows its payment solutions to operate across the 30 countries of the European Economic Area.

Cassie Craddock, CEO of Ripple in the United Kingdom, celebrated this achievement with a pointed statement: “We are fully licensed in Europe and excited to keep building on the incredible momentum of the last few months. Let’s go.” The executive also highlighted the strong demand among the European institutions Ripple works with to develop digital asset services alongside its partners, noting that the company is now positioned to meet that demand.

The CASP license, combined with the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license Ripple already held in the European Union, allows banks, fintechs and corporations to access the firm’s full payments infrastructure, including the token XRP and the stablecoin RLUSD, through a single integration. With this new permit, the company adds more than 75 regulatory licenses at the international level.
