The figures were published in the digital brokerage platform’s earnings report, which exceeded Wall Street consensus estimates, set at $194.5 million according to projections compiled by Yahoo Finance.

The bulk of revenue came from the traditional segment: stock and options trading contributed $112 million, representing 56% of quarterly revenue. The year-over-year shift was considerable, recording a 51% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Webull Slowly Opens Up to the Crypto World

During a conference call, Anthony Michael Denier, president and CEO of Webull, acknowledged a gradual improvement in the crypto asset segment. “For the first time, probably in the last nine months, I’m starting to see the clouds begin to clear in the crypto business, and that’s a very positive thing,” Denier stated. The executive added that the company was in the process of progressively rolling out cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal features for its users.

The comparison with Robinhood illustrates the uneven moment the sector is experiencing. The rival platform published its results on July 30 and, despite posting record quarterly figures, cryptocurrency transaction revenue fell 38%, dropping from approximately $160 million to $100 million over the same period.

As for stock performance, Webull shares rose 8.9% on Wednesday following the release of the report. The following day, in the pre-market session, the stock was trading at $9.98 per share and had gained nearly 15%, according to data recorded at 10:37 UTC on Thursday.
