Stellar’s native token the XLM can now be traded on the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX) as of January 30th, thanks to the efforts of Sponsor Firm Rampart Corporate Services. The Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange’s Digital Asset Exchange (GBX-DAX) listed the asset following a successful addition of several other large-cap cryptocurrencies to its platform over the past few weeks.
Former assets that have been added to the platform this month include XRP, EOS, and TRON. Justifying his support for the XLM digital asset, Peter Howitt, the founder of Rampart Corporate Services said that:
“Stellar is a great brand with the potential to help bring borderless, safe and low-cost payments to the world and is a great fit for GBX.”
Stellar’s network is one of the top ten largest blockchain networks by market cap and its addition on a cryptocurrency exchange such as GBX is a significant milestone. These sentiments were expressed by Nick Cowan, the managing director and founder of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange (GSX) Group Limited.
Nick said that: “Already, we have made significant strides in 2019 in delivering on our mission to set the highest standards in institutional-grade token sales, providing our users with the most dynamic trading experience possible. The addition of XLM is another landmark moment for the exchange, as our status continues to rise within the global trading community.”
Adding his praise for the latest development, he said that:
“I’m pleased to add yet another leading token to the GBX-DAX. XLM tokens are built on the principles of efficiency and speed – the same principles that underpin our efforts here at GSX Group. We have outlined an ambitious roadmap for the year ahead which will see us continue to expand our token listing offering. Adding tokens such as XRP, EOS, TRON, and now XLM this month alone assertively underlines our credentials as a bonafide platform for the trading of high-profile tokens.”
GBX-DAX is a cryptocurrency exchange built upon institutional grade best practices thanks to its parent company the Gibraltar Stock Exchange (GSX). GSX is regulated under the EU capital markets legal framework. GBX gained its license to operate as a blockchain services provider from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) back in November 2018.
Stellar Lumens will be available for trade in the following pairs: XLM/USD, XLM/EUR, XLM/GBP, XLM/ETH, XLM/BTC.
