TL;DR
- Solana processed $5.8 billion in tokenized asset volume during Q2 2026, marking its strongest quarter for real-world asset activity.
- Tokenized equity trading reached $4.8 billion, increasing more than four times compared with the previous quarter.
- SpaceX tokenized shares generated around $770 million in June volume, becoming one of the main drivers behind Solana’s RWA growth.
Solana’s tokenized asset market reached an all-time high in the second quarter of 2026, according to research from Blockworks Research. The blockchain processed nearly $6 billion in tokenized asset trades, with tokenized stocks representing the majority of activity.
The results indicate a shift in how investors are using Solana. The network has historically been recognized for fast transactions, low fees, and high blockchain performance, but recent growth has increasingly come from real-world assets moving on-chain.
Tokenized equities reached $4.8 billion in quarterly volume, representing more than four times the level recorded in the first quarter. Monthly activity accelerated throughout the period, with trading volume rising from $670 million in April to $871 million in May, before reaching $3.3 billion in June.
Solana Tokenized Asset Growth Accelerates Through Equity Markets
The largest contributor to June’s increase was the launch of tokenized SpaceX shares following the company’s record-setting public listing on June 12. A tokenized version of the stock, issued through Sunrise and distributed through Backpack, generated approximately $770 million in trading volume during the month.
Other tokenized assets, including digital versions of Micron, SanDisk, and the Roundhill Memory ETF, also attracted significant demand. Together with SpaceX, these assets generated more than $1 billion in June trading volume, highlighting the expanding role of blockchain networks in traditional financial markets.
Solana now represents around 97% of tokenized equity trading activity across blockchain networks, strengthening its position in the RWA sector. The combination of high transaction capacity and low operating costs has helped attract platforms focused on bringing traditional assets into decentralized environments.
Network Activity Shows Mixed Performance Despite RWA Expansion
While tokenized assets expanded rapidly, other areas of Solana’s ecosystem experienced slower activity during the quarter. Real Economic Value, which measures network revenue from fees and tips, declined 43% to $51 million.
Decentralized exchange volume also decreased 44% to $160.8 billion, although Solana maintained the largest share of spot trading among blockchains with 32% of the market. The network continued processing significant user activity, recording 9.8 billion non-vote transactions during the quarter.
Institutional interest remained steady, with SOL-focused investment products receiving $120 million in net inflows. Staked SOL reached 427 million tokens, while stablecoin supply remained stable at $16.3 billion.
