RLUSD, the dollar-backed stablecoin from Ripple, completed its integration with Wormhole through the Native Token Transfers (NTT) framework, allowing it to move natively between blockchain networks without relying on wrapped or synthetic versions. The integration connects the XRP Ledger with Ethereum’s DeFi ecosystem, reducing liquidity fragmentation and enabling more efficient capital flows between both networks.
A central aspect of the process is the deployment of RLUSD on the XRPL EVM Sidechain, which combines the efficiency of the XRP Ledger with Ethereum’s development tools. Developers can build with Solidity, MetaMask and standard DeFi infrastructure while maintaining a direct connection to XRP Ledger liquidity. Lending protocols, decentralized exchanges and tokenization platforms become connected to RLUSD’s settlement rails without needing to restructure their applications.
$RLUSD is institutional-grade infrastructure for payments and tokenization.
Through @wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT), $RLUSD can now move natively across multiple blockchain ecosystems, supporting cross-border payments, institutional on/off-ramps, and tokenization use… https://t.co/aRQkwBJnEd

The integration also extends to XRP, which gains functional utility as a liquidity asset, collateral and payment tool within these ecosystems. For financial institutions, the multichain availability of a regulated stablecoin strengthens its use in cross-border payments, treasury management and tokenized asset settlement. RLUSD becomes a connectivity infrastructure between ecosystems.
