Ripple integrated Hyperliquid into Prime, its institutional prime brokerage platform, offering direct exposure to the onchain derivatives market through a perpetual futures DEX. The integration brings decentralized derivatives trading tools into the environment used by institutional clients to manage multi-asset positions.

Prime now operates with Hyperliquid as an onchain venue within its institutional infrastructure. Clients can trade decentralized perpetual futures alongside cleared derivatives, OTC swaps, fixed income, forex, and other digital assets already supported on the platform. All positions are managed under a cross-margin and unified capital framework.

Why Hyperliquid?

Hyperliquid operates as a decentralized perpetual futures exchange with an onchain order book. The protocol records daily trading volumes in the billions of dollars and maintains one of the deepest onchain order books in the perpetual derivatives market, covering a broad range of assets.

Ripple Expands Its DeFi Offering

Ripple confirmed that the integration is already live within Prime. Institutional clients can access Hyperliquid as part of their standard operating stack, while retaining the same custody, margin, and exposure control processes used across other supported markets on the platform.
