OpenEden launched order book trading on EX.IO for its Treasury Bills Institutional Liquidity Limited fund ($TBILL), managed by BNY Investments.

The EX.IO platform, regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC), added the TBILL/USD pair to its order book, marking the first time the token trades on the order book of a licensed exchange.

EX.IO’s primary distribution channel, active since March 2026, remains available for subscriptions and redemptions at the fund’s net asset value. The new continuous order book market allows eligible investors to enter and exit positions outside primary settlement hours and with flexible order sizes.

OpenEden’s $TBILL fund offers on-chain exposure to short-term U.S. Treasury bills, holds a credit rating of ‘AA+f’ and volatility rating of ‘S1+’ assigned by S&P Global Ratings, and was the first tokenized Treasury product to receive an investment-grade rating from Moody’s.

The initiative is part of the strategic partnership announced in February 2026 between OpenEden and EX.IO, aimed at expanding the offering of regulated tokenized financial assets in the Hong Kong market.
