The Chinese government is trying its best to develop the technological needs of a blockchain revolution. The PRC National Development and Reform Commission announced a new partnership with Tron to work on this revolution’s fundamental aspects. TRON founder and BitTorrent CEO Justin Sun is part of this collaboration and will work as an advisor in the information China magazine editorial board.
A Strategic Step in TRON Roadmap
The recent partnership between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China – AKA NDRC – and TRON is focused on economic development. The government organization is responsible for economic system reform in China and follows the president’s order to move faster in adopting blockchain technologies.
Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, emphasized in his speech last year on October 24:
“leveraging blockchain to make core technological breakthroughs” and “accelerating innovation in blockchain technology and businesses.”
Many of the Chinese government agencies have shown their interest and attention over TRON public blockchain. So many experts assumed that the government would start a partnership with this blockchain long before.
According to news outlets, the recent partnership between TRON and NDRC involves Justin Sun, too.
“TRON founder Justin Sun has also been appointed as an editorial board member of Information China, an authoritative journal of the National Information Technology Commission, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021. For a period of one year, Justin Sun and TRON will serve as advisors to China national authorities and promote the development of China’s information industry from the blockchain field.”
Justin Sun has benefited from the DeFi boom in 2020. He launched a new platform called JUST ecosystem to leverage TRON’s vast presence in the DeFi market. The new partnership with the Chinese government helps him and his companies flourish more in 2021. He said about the new partnership:
“2020 has been a fruitful year for TRON. This year, we officially launched the new BitTorrent X ecosystem and the world’s first decentralized live-streaming protocol DLive Protocol, which has been through decades of research and development. We also entered into a partnership with Huawei, one of the world’s largest Android device manufacturers. The journey next year will undoubtedly be spectacular, and TRON and I will continue to go all in. I hope that by this time next year, TRON will grow into an irreplaceable, unrivaled public chain and shine on the global blockchain stage on behalf of Chinese public chains.”
