Hedera added two new partners to its Council network, expanding its Strategic and Community Partners program with additions that strengthen its decentralized infrastructure for real-world use cases.
The first is WISeKey, a Swiss company specialized in cybersecurity, digital identity and IoT solutions, which becomes the fourth Strategic Partner of the council alongside the Global Blockchain Business Council, Halborn and the Institutes RiskStream Collaborative.
The company will contribute its expertise in secure authentication, quantum-resistant semiconductors and satellite IoT, integrated with Hedera’s distributed ledger technology.
One of its subsidiaries, SEALCOIN AG, already has a presence in the ecosystem: earlier this year, the Hashgraph Group launched a quantum security assessment platform on the SEALCOIN Quantum Marketplace.
The second and newest partner is SpaceDev, a Latin American software company headquartered in Uruguay, which joins as the eighth Community Partner of the council. SpaceDev had already used Hedera in its Blockchain for Energy platform, converting carbon capture initiatives into verifiable on-chain assets. The company currently ranks second among the leading blockchain firms according to Clutch.
