Carbon DeFi launched its MCP server on the COTI network, allowing artificial intelligence agents to deploy and manage automated trading strategies directly on-chain. The server grants access to 25 tools covering six strategy types: Limit Orders, Range Orders, Recurring Strategies, Concentrated Liquidity, Full Range Liquidity, and Swaps, with no manual configuration required from the user.
The Carbon protocol was originally developed by Bancor and was one of the first ecosystem partners to launch on the COTI mainnet. Its main features include immunity to MEV sandwich attacks, a concentrated liquidity system with fee auto-compounding, and zero fees on executed maker orders.
The Carbon integration is complemented by COTI Agent Skills, an open-source library that includes eight skills, an SDK, and over 48 MCP tools. With this toolkit, an agent can create a wallet, claim a Starter Grant to cover gas fees, and start operating within minutes. The MCP server is compatible with frameworks such as OpenClaw, Herms, Claude, Codex, Manus and any agent compatible with the MCP protocol.
