The same 4,500 BTC were worth roughly $187.38 million when they entered the sending address four years earlier, leaving about $194 million in unrealized gains at the time of the move.
The transfer emptied the previous wallet and shifted the entire balance into a fresh address rather than an identified exchange deposit. That distinction matters because moving coins between wallets does not realize a profit or confirm an intention to sell, while the transaction shows that the holder still controls a large Bitcoin position accumulated long before the latest market cycle.
The immediate focus is whether the 4,500 BTC remain at the new address or move again toward an exchange, custodian or another wallet. Further on-chain activity could clarify the holder’s next step, but the latest transaction alone only confirms a large internal movement after years of dormancy.
