TL;DR
- Wallets holding at least 10 million XRP collectively own 46.87 billion tokens, equivalent to 68.5% of the supply tracked by Santiment.
- Whale holdings have reached their highest share since November 2022, despite the market correction and XRP trading near $1.29.
- Analysts believe the accumulation could support a recovery toward $1.50, although the data does not indicate whether whales intend to hold or sell their tokens.
XRP whales now hold 68.5% of the token’s supply, the highest percentage recorded since November 2022, according to data from Santiment Intelligence.
Addresses holding at least 10 million XRP currently have a combined balance of 46.87 billion tokens. This figure represents the holdings of wallets within that group and illustrates the share of the cryptocurrency’s supply controlled by its largest holders.
The increase coincides with a market correction. XRP is trading near $1.29, following a sustained decline over recent weeks, but the combined balances of large wallets have continued to grow.

XRP Whales Reach Their Highest Supply Share in Four Years
Santiment’s records indicate that wallets holding more than 10 million tokens have not accounted for such a large share of the supply since November 2022.
Accumulation has continued despite weakness in the market. However, growing wallet balances alone cannot establish whether their owners are buying with a long-term outlook or planning to sell when prices recover.
This also does not necessarily mean that every address belongs to a different investor. A single entity may control multiple wallets, while some addresses may belong to platforms holding assets on behalf of numerous customers.
Therefore, the increase in whale holdings does not guarantee a price recovery, although it provides insight into changes in XRP’s supply distribution during the correction.
Analysts Watch for a Potential Recovery Toward $1.50
With XRP trading around $1.30, some analysts believe demand from large holders could help absorb some of the selling pressure.
Under that scenario, $1.50 emerges as a potential recovery target, provided buying activity is strong enough to sustain an upward move.
The distance between the current price and that level is approximately 16%, using $1.29 as the reference price.
However, Santiment’s data describes the distribution of tokens, not the buy and sell orders that will be executed in the market. Whale activity also cannot establish when a recovery might occur.
