Bitcoin ETFs extended their steady run of inflows on Thursday, adding another $242.3 million and pushing their nine‑day streak past the $3 billion mark. The latest result highlights persistent demand across the US spot Bitcoin ETF category, even as Bitcoin itself experienced short‑term price swings ahead of a closely watched macro event.

Strong Ninth Day Caps a Powerful August Run

According to Farside Investors data, the Aug. 27 inflow marked the ninth consecutive trading session of net additions for Bitcoin ETFs. The streak began on Aug. 17 and has now brought approximately $3.04 billion into the funds. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust was the clear standout, pulling in $277.6 million on Thursday. That figure exceeded the group’s overall net total because several competing products posted withdrawals.

Fidelity’s FBTC recorded the largest outflow of the day at $83.6 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC saw $27.2 million leave. Other issuers posted more modest gains, including ARKB with $29.7 million, BITB with $21.7 million and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust with $11.7 million. The latest inflow follows $232.2 million on Aug. 26, $314.3 million on Aug. 25 and $337.6 million on Aug. 24, reinforcing August as one of the strongest months for spot Bitcoin ETFs demand in 2026.

Bitcoin Shows Volatility Ahead of Jackson Hole

Bitcoin Shows Volatility Ahead of Jackson Hole

Despite the persistent buying, Bitcoin’s price action remained choppy. BTC climbed above $81,000 earlier in the past 24 hours and briefly reached around $81,280 before reversing lower. At the time of writing, Bitcoin traded near $79,500. The pullback comes ahead of Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s Jackson Hole address, a key event traders are watching for signals on the future path of US interest rates.

Even with the latest dip, Bitcoin remains up roughly 2% over the past week. The combination of strong Bitcoin ETFs inflows and macro‑driven volatility continues to shape market sentiment as investors assess how long the current accumulation trend can hold.
