Animoca Brands joined XDC Network as an institutional validator. The firm announced it will operate masternodes on the blockchain specialized in trade finance and real-world asset settlement.
XDC Network features a hybrid architecture designed specifically for trade finance, cross-border settlement, and real-world asset tokenization, setting it apart from general-purpose blockchains competing for institutional adoption. Animoca Brands will join a validator set that includes Deutsche Telekom, HashKeyCloud, Republic, SBI Holdings, and UOB Venture Management.
Atul Khekade, co-founder of XDC Network, noted that institutional-grade infrastructure requires validators of the same caliber, and that Animoca’s addition brings credibility and access to networks capable of accelerating the real-world asset activity XDC was built to support.
