TL;DR
- XRP whale inflows to Binance reached a monthly average of $112.4 million, the highest level since March, according to analyst Darkfost.
- Exchange inflows have reportedly returned to more typical levels, suggesting that intense selling pressure from large holders may be easing.
- XRP faces resistance between $1.38 and $1.40, while support near $1.26 remains important for traders assessing the next directional move.
XRP whale activity has raised fresh questions about the token’s short-term outlook after large holders transferred $112.4 million worth of XRP to Binance. However, the subsequent decline in inflows offers a more constructive signal, suggesting that the heaviest wave of potential selling may have passed.
For XRP investors, the key question is whether the market can absorb remaining supply and regain its upward momentum.

XRP Whales And Exchange Inflows Offer A New Signal
According to analyst Darkfost, the monthly average value of large XRP transfers to Binance reached $112.4 million, significantly above the approximately $90 million average recorded over the preceding three months. The metric also marked its highest reading since March.
Darkfost tracks whale transactions exceeding one million XRP. Since August, the monthly average of these transfers has increased by approximately $72 million, while individual daily spikes have surpassed $400 million.
The timing coincided with XRP recovering more than 30% from its August levels, creating an opportunity for large holders to secure profits.
Transfers to centralized exchanges often indicate that investors are preparing to sell because exchange deposits make assets readily available for trading. Nevertheless, deposits alone do not confirm completed sales. Some investors may move tokens for liquidity management or other trading strategies.
More recently, whale inflows have reportedly returned to more typical levels. This development could reduce immediate concerns about persistent selling pressure and give buyers more room to establish stronger support.

XRP Price Faces Resistance As Bulls Seek A Breakout
XRP has also encountered a technical challenge. Analyst CryptoBusy identified a descending resistance trendline on the four-hour chart, with the token struggling to maintain its recovery above that barrier.
After rebounding from approximately $1.26 toward $1.40, XRP briefly moved above the trendline before retreating. Selling pressure emerged around $1.37, leaving the market searching for a sustainable direction.
The $1.33 area remains an important level to monitor. A breakdown could expose support near $1.30, followed by the previous rebound low at $1.26.
On the upside, a confirmed breakout through the 1.38–1.40 resistance zone could strengthen the bullish case. CryptoBusy has identified 1.45–1.50 as potential subsequent levels, although reaching them would depend on buying demand and broader market conditions.
