Tokenized Stock Market Cap Surges as Avalanche Drives Explosive Growth

TL;DR

  • Avalanche added $266 million to the tokenized stock market cap over the past 30 days, ahead of BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain and X Layer.
  • The number of tokenized stock holders climbed 64.30% to 4.04 million addresses, while addresses transferring these assets jumped 115.70% to 3.24 million.
  • The figures show accelerating onchain participation as tokenized equities expand across multiple blockchain networks.

The tokenized stock market cap is expanding rapidly across several blockchain networks, with Avalanche recording the largest increase during the latest 30-day period. Avalanche added $266 million in tokenized stock value, while BNB Chain gained $116 million, Robinhood Chain added $100 million and X Layer increased by $95 million.

The growth is not limited to market capitalization. The number of addresses holding tracked tokenized stocks increased 64.30% to 4.04 million, while addresses transferring these assets jumped 115.70% to 3.24 million. That divergence suggests that more users are not only holding tokenized equities but also actively moving them across blockchain-based markets.

Avalanche Leads Tokenized Stock Market Cap Expansion

Avalanche’s performance adds to its growing role in the tokenization sector. The network has already attracted institutional activity through platforms such as Securitize, which supports token issuance and management on Avalanche’s C-Chain. Securitize says its infrastructure has tokenized more than $4 billion in assets and supports major institutions including BlackRock and KKR.

The broader market is also moving toward blockchain-based securities. In September, the New York Stock Exchange partnered with Blockchain.com to explore tokenized versions of U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. The initiative reflects growing interest in using blockchain infrastructure for settlement and extended trading access.

Regulatory developments are adding another layer to the expansion. On September 17, the SEC introduced a five-year exemption framework for certain platforms trading tokenized stocks, while requiring qualifying tokens to provide the same shareholder rights as their traditional counterparts.

Onchain Equity Activity Gains Broader Momentum

Avalanche is not operating in isolation. BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain and X Layer also posted substantial increases, indicating that tokenized equities are becoming a multi-chain market rather than a single-network experiment.

Institutional products are helping reinforce this trend. BlackRock’s BUIDL, issued through Securitize, has expanded beyond Ethereum to networks including Avalanche, while providing eligible investors with blockchain-based ownership, transfers and settlement.

The latest figures therefore point to growth across three areas at once: market value, ownership and transaction activity. If this pattern continues, tokenized stocks could become an increasingly important bridge between traditional securities markets and onchain finance, with Avalanche currently showing some of the strongest recent expansion.
