Grayscale reduced its position in XRP within the GDLC fund by 27.1% over the last fiscal year, according to an annual report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

As of June 30, 2026, the Grayscale fund held 12.30 million XRP, down from the 16.87 million recorded a year earlier. The fair value of that position fell even more sharply, from approximately $39.14 million to $12.83 million, a reduction of 67.2%.

However, the decline does not reflect a deliberate selling decision by Grayscale. The filing breakdown details that, during fiscal year 2026, the fund received approximately 3.00 million XRP in contributions, but recorded outflows of approximately 7.44 million tokens from share redemptions, plus 153,534 XRP distributed as management fees.

Added to that was an unrealized depreciation of approximately $28.01 million on the XRP position, partially offset by a realized gain of $12.19 million tied to transactions associated with those redemptions.

Despite the adjustment, XRP remained the fourth most important asset in the portfolio at the close of the period, representing 4.15% of the fund’s total net assets, estimated at $308.96 millionBitcoin dominates the Grayscale portfolio with 76.03%, followed by Ethereum with 12.32% and BNB with 4.76%. Solana ranked below XRP, with 2.74%.
