Ripple announced a multi-year partnership with Florida Athletics that will introduce XRP branding onto the playing field of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, home of the University of Florida football team, starting with the 2026 season. Beyond the field, the XRP logo will appear on the digital properties of the program and on event signage.

The agreement goes beyond mere visibility. Ripple will fund financial and technology education programs aimed at Florida’s college athletes and the broader campus community, covering both traditional finance and digital assets. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Branding with XRP

The alliance is part of Ripple’s strategy to strengthen its presence in American college sports. In the early summer of 2026, the company signed a sponsorship deal with the Kansas Jayhawks, which will include a patch featuring the XRP logo on the team’s jerseys, making it the first cryptocurrency to appear on the official apparel of a top-tier college sports program. Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, is a University of Kansas alumnus.

Florida competes in the Southeastern Conference, one of the most competitive circuits in American college sports. The program hosts 21 teams and more than 500 athletes, and has accumulated 49 national titles across 16 sports. Its football team won the national championships in 1996, 2006, and 2008, and remains among the most followed programs in the NCAA.
