Revolut said August 26 that it began a phased rollout of EURR, its first euro-backed stablecoin, to selected eligible customers in Denmark, Poland and Portugal. Issued by Bridge Building S.A., EURR is designed to maintain a €1 value, making euro-denominated on-chain access the centerpiece of Revolut’s first stablecoin launch.

EURR is fully integrated into Revolut’s retail app, allowing eligible users to move value between euros, crypto and supported blockchain networks. The token can also be transferred to external wallets, while reserves are managed by Bridge under applicable MiCA requirements, placing regulated stablecoin infrastructure directly inside Revolut’s existing financial ecosystem.

The initial rollout remains limited, with wider availability across the European Economic Area expected later this year, subject to product, operational and regulatory readiness. Revolut is also developing stablecoins denominated in additional currencies, making successful expansion beyond the three launch markets the next test of its broader stablecoin strategy.
