BOB said that BOB Gateway added 14 new USDC and USDT routes across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain and Avalanche. The expansion covers eight same-asset bridges and six cross-chain swaps, making stablecoin movement across networks a larger part of the Gateway’s core routing layer for apps and users.

The new routes include direct USDC-to-USDT swaps across different chains, settling as a single order instead of leaving users to bridge first and then find a decentralized exchange. BOB said one-step cross-chain conversion is designed to remove operational friction from stablecoin payments, especially for payouts, remittances, merchant settlement and treasury workflows.

Developers can access the routing through BOB Gateway’s API, SDK or CLI, with quotes specifying source and destination chains, tokens, amounts and recipients. Destination gas can be deducted from the swap, so recipients do not need the destination chain’s native token. The next test is whether the expanded routing turns simpler stablecoin transfers into broader application-level adoption.
