Revolut connected its standalone exchange, Revolut X, with various third-party artificial intelligence assistants to allow its customers to analyze markets, monitor portfolios and execute trades through natural language instructions.
Compatible assistants include Claude, Gemini, OpenClaw and Cursor. Users on other platforms can link their accounts through a universal skill or a command-line interface published on GitHub, with no programming knowledge required.

The integration allows users to request portfolio performance reports in plain text, query real-time market data, set personalized price alerts, place market and limit orders, and manage open positions without returning to the Revolut X application. Users can also describe a trading strategy in natural language, such as a grid on bitcoin over the past 90 days, and receive historical performance, risk metrics and optimization results.
Revolut X and the Rise of Agentic Trading
“AI agents offer us much faster workflows, smarter execution and closer integration with the tools we use to operate every day,” said Leonid Bashlykov, head of crypto product at Revolut, in a statement.
The company clarified that users are responsible for reviewing and approving all orders before execution. Revolut does not endorse or guarantee third-party tools and assumes no liability for losses, missed opportunities or erroneous trades resulting from AI system failures.
The exchange reports more than 75 million retail customers and more than 16 million users trading cryptocurrencies. Crypto asset services are provided by Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd., licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission as a crypto asset service provider under the MiCA regulatory framework.
In the Hands of the Agents
Other firms in the sector are also implementing similar measures. Gemini launched its agentic trading tool in April, allowing users to connect Claude and ChatGPT directly to their accounts through the open MCP standard. Liquid added real-time trade execution via ChatGPT and Claude a month later. Robinhood, for its part, announced that its Agentic Accounts for cryptocurrencies will begin rolling out in the United States shortly.
