Kraken said July 7 that four native volume profile indicators are now live on Kraken Desktop, bringing structural market analysis directly into its trading workstation. The tools include Volume Profile Visible Range, Volume Profile Fixed Range, Anchored Volume Profile and Session Volume Profile, giving traders a clearer view of where markets actually traded.
The indicators plot volume by price level rather than only showing price over time, surfacing the point of control, value area and low-volume nodes. Kraken said the setup lets users analyze structure and place orders from the same desktop environment, making market context and execution part of one workflow.
VPVR updates as users pan or zoom, VPFR profiles a selected range, AVP tracks volume from a chosen point and SVP shows session-by-session structure with up to 90 days of history available on demand. The main follow-up is whether active users treat the tools as a workstation-level upgrade over separate charting software.
