TL;DR:
- Waves will incorporate Predictorium, a native prediction markets platform that resolves real-world events through oracles and tokenized settlement.
- Users can propose their own events in categories such as crypto, sports, news and AI. These are subject to moderation before going live.
- Each market settles in binary: holders of the winning token (Yes or No) can redeem 1 WAVES through the Claim form.
Waves launched Predictorium, a native prediction markets platform that turns real-world events into tokenized positions with predefined resolution rules. This product marks the entry of a new type of application into the ecosystem: community-generated markets, assisted by artificial intelligence and settled through oracle infrastructure.
On-chain Prediction, Clear Resolution
Predictorium.io operates under a binary logic: each market poses a precise question with a Yes or No outcome, tied to a deadline and a specific data source. Users can propose events in categories such as crypto prices, sports, news, cultural trends and ecosystem milestones. Before a market goes live, the proposed event goes through a moderation process to ensure the question is objective, clear and resolvable without leaving room for subjective interpretation. Once approved, users can make their predictions, mint tokens linked to the event and trade them as expectations evolve.

Resolution is the core of the model. When an event closes, Predictorium sends a request to Waves Oracle, which queries an AI model or an external API depending on the type of market. An event about an asset’s price may refer to data from Bybit, while news or sports events may draw on other external sources or AI-assisted responses. The oracle response operates as input for the final decision, making the process auditable and transparent throughout its entire cycle.
Waves: Oracles as Market Arbiters
Once the outcome is confirmed, holders of the correct token can access the Claim form and receive 1 WAVES per token. This mechanism closes the full cycle: from event creation and rule definition to settlement via the oracle and redemption of the winning token.
According to Waves Tech, Predictorium adds a social and data layer to the ecosystem, replacing open-ended debates with concrete market questions and measurable expectations. The platform will open the door to a new category of native applications: fast-moving products connected to real-world events, with AI-assisted resolution backed by decentralized oracle infrastructure.
