An anonymous hacker sold 2,243 ETH for about $8.05 million at an average price of $3,589, according to Lookonchain data. The sale took place during a broad market correction, with Ethereum dropping more than 5%.

The move, described as a panic-driven sell-off, repeats the hacker’s pattern of buying high and selling low, resulting in recurring losses. The origin of the funds and any link to recent attacks have not been disclosed.

The crypto market continues to decline: Bitcoin is trading near $107,000 after falling 2.6%, while total market capitalization dropped 3.4% to $3.57 trillion. The hacker appears to have given in to volatility and bearish pressure on major tokens.
