Digital asset investment products have once again seen inflows for the first time in five consecutive weeks. According to the weekly report from CoinShares Research, inflows amounted to a total of $130 million.
Most of these inflows were concentrated in the United States, totaling $135 million. It is also noteworthy that Grayscale, a major asset manager, experienced its lowest weekly outflows since January, totaling $171 million.
However, despite the positive trend, there was some caution among Ethereum (ETH) investors. This was reflected in fund outflows totaling $14 million last week. The caution is partly due to speculation about the decision on Ethereum ETFs by US regulators.
Is Investment in Hong Kong Fading?
In terms of specific fund flows, Bitcoin (BTC) recorded inflows totaling $144 million, indicating a recovery after a weak and challenging month. On the other hand, short Bitcoin ETPs saw fund outflows totaling $5.1 million, bringing the total outflows to $18 million over the last eight weeks.
Another point to highlight is that, despite the record inflows observed in Hong Kong the previous week, inflows this week were only $19 million. The initial increase, mainly driven by seed capital for the launch of Bitcoin ETFs, may be starting to weaken.
As for other markets, Canada and Germany continued to experience fund outflows, with total outflows of $20 million and $15 million respectively. This brings the total outflows for the year to a combined sum of $660 million.
