The XRP ETFs kicked off October with positive net flows, recording $4.07 million on the first day of the month, while Ethereum ETFs posted net outflows of $55.37 million in the same session, according to SosoValue data.

The divergence between both assets reached $59.44 million in daily flows. XRP significantly outpaced Ethereum on Thursday. The total trading volume of its ETFs during that session was $25.87 million, a signal that institutional interest has returned after a week of underperformance.

In terms of performance by issuer, Franklin Templeton led inflows with $4.06 million in new capital, followed closely by Bitwise with $3.18 million.

However, an outflow of $3.18 million from Canary Capital‘s XRP ETF partially offset those inflows. Ethereum, meanwhile, deepened its institutional weakness: the October 1st outflows brought its cumulative net inflows to $13.84 billion, reflecting growing caution among its institutional investors at the start of this fourth quarter.
