RippleX Developers said on September 14 that Batch V1.1 is ready for validator approval after a major security overhaul. The XRP Ledger amendment had support from 27 of 35 trusted validators, leaving one additional vote needed to reach the 80% threshold and begin a two-week activation countdown, meaning the upgrade is close but not yet active on Mainnet.
Batch V1.1 would let users execute multiple linked transactions atomically, so all transactions in a batch either succeed together or fail together. RippleX said the feature can support atomic swaps, coordinated settlements, custody transfers, cross-border payment finalization and platform-fee bundling, while the revised version underwent expanded audits, testing and security reviews after a critical flaw halted the original proposal.
One more supporting validator would start the 14-day activation period, but support must remain above the required threshold throughout that window. Mainnet activation therefore still depends on sustained validator consensus, and validators can change their votes before the countdown completes.
