Wemade added Chainlink Labs to the Global Alliance for KRW Stablecoin (GAKS), an alliance created to drive the adoption of South Korean won–backed stablecoins under local regulatory standards. GAKS was launched in November 2025 and brings together infrastructure, security, compliance, and fintech companies involved in digital asset development in South Korea.

Chainlink Labs will provide technical support in standard-setting, infrastructure strengthening, and the enablement of use cases for tokenized assets. The alliance will allow its members to leverage Chainlink’s oracle network in initiatives related to stablecoins and onchain finance.

Wemade said Chainlink will play an operational role in ensuring data integrity, transparency, and stability for KRW stablecoins, aligned with global financial market standards. The company highlighted Chainlink’s adoption by institutions such as Swift, UBS, Euroclear, Mastercard, and Fidelity International, as well as its use in government datasets.

Chainalysis, CertiK, and SentBe are also members of the alliance. The consortium includes onchain analytics, security auditing, regulatory compliance, and fintech capabilities. Wemade confirmed it will continue expanding the alliance with firms worldwide to develop new real-world use cases for KRW stablecoins
