Visa & Mastercard Payments Halted for Binance Users in Ukraine

Recently, Binance confirmed the suspension of direct withdrawals to Visa and Mastercard cards for its customers in Ukraine. The suspension is in response to the cessation of services by its fiat payment partner, Bifinity, due to regulatory adjustments forcing the provider to close its local operations by the end of the year.

Despite this restriction in Ukraine, Binance maintains its core cryptocurrency exchange functions operational. Users can still make deposits and purchases via cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, but recurring purchases and fiat-denominated limit orders have been paused. Following the measure, the impact is mainly reflected in the loss of convenience for automatically converting digital assets into local currency.

Affected users must now utilize alternative channels such as P2P trading or SWIFT bank transfers while other services are restored. Allied platforms like Zen.com are expected to regain full functionality in early January 2026, which would allow the outflow of capital to the traditional banking system to normalize once again.
