The company’s second-quarter filing showed that approximately 95% of its assets were invested in or committed to TRX. As of June 30, Tron Inc. held $233.8 million in TRX and staked TRX, known as sTRX, against a total balance sheet of $256.2 million. That concentration gives the company significant exposure to TRX while allowing it to seek additional returns from decentralized finance.
Tron Inc. Expands Its TRX Treasury Strategy
Nearly all of the company’s treasury TRX has been placed into JustLend’s sTRX system. Of the $233.8 million position, $229.7 million was represented by sTRX issued through JustLend, meaning roughly 90% of total assets were connected directly to the protocol.
The approach has already produced meaningful income. Tron Inc. reported $6.33 million in unrealized staking income during the first half of 2026, including $3.35 million during the second quarter. That figure exceeded the $2.75 million generated by its operating business over the same six-month period. The treasury therefore provides the company with a second potential source of returns alongside TRX price appreciation.
JustLend’s documentation confirms that sTRX combines standard TRX staking rewards with revenue from energy rentals on the TRON network. The exchange rate between sTRX and TRX can increase as rewards accumulate, allowing holders to maintain exposure to TRX while participating in the network’s staking economy.
JustLend Exposure Adds A Different Risk Profile
The strategy also introduces protocol-specific risks that go beyond TRX volatility. Tron Inc. has disclosed that smart-contract failures, security vulnerabilities or exploits could lead to partial or total losses involving its sTRX holdings. The company also notes that its treasury tokens are uninsured.
Liquidity is another consideration. JustLend’s standard unstaking process places TRX into a 14-day unbonding queue before withdrawal, although sTRX can also be traded through external venues. Network congestion, outages or changes to protocol parameters could also affect redemptions, fees or staking returns.
