TRON DAO celebrated the debut of TRXS, the staked TRX ETF launched by Canary Capital, ringing the closing bell on the trading floor of Cboe Global Markets in Chicago.
The product, listed on Cboe on September 9 under the ticker TRXS, offers institutional investors spot price exposure to TRX, the native token of the TRON network, with the possibility of accumulating additional rewards through participation in the network’s delegated proof-of-stake validation mechanism.
Justin Sun, founder of the network, highlighted the launch as a signal of institutional recognition toward the network and acknowledged Canary Capital’s work in bringing TRX to the ETF market. The fund reflects net staking rewards directly in its net asset value.
TRON holds more than $94 billion in USDT and records the highest transfer volume of that stablecoin across all blockchains, with approximately $6.1 trillion accumulated so far this year. The network positions itself as critical infrastructure for decentralized finance and global payments.
